About Caroline

She’s a Product Designer based in sunny Miami, FL who wants to help people focus on time well spent so they can get back to what matters most. Currently, she’s a design lead on Visa's in-house payments consulting team where she uses service design to craft intuitive user experiences that help merchants and financial institutions innovate and grow. She's a champion of collaboration, nerds out on documentation in the design process, and cares deeply about early career design mentorship.

Born and raised in the DMV, she stayed close to her roots to kick off her design career at the Smithsonian where she learned the ropes of UX design and web development, launching the first travel discovery tool for the Institution’s travel arm, Journeys. Since then, she's earned a M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan and has worked end-to-end having designed, built and shipped experiences from enterprise tooling for Capital One as well as notable features for their flagship iOS and Android apps to vision work for Johnson & Johnson’s Visible Patient tablet toolbar.
